The Union Public Service Commission conducts Central Armed police Forces (Asst Commandants) Examination , 2013( Written Examination on  20th October, 2013 ) 

 
Minimum Educational Qualifications : A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification. Note 1 : Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission’s examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination in the year 2013 will also be eligible for admission to the examination. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of having passed the requisite examination along with the Detailed Application Form which will be required to be submitted online by the candidates who after qualifying on the result of the written part of the examination are also declared qualified in the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

Age Limits : (a) A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2013

Physical Standards : Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards for admission to Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants), Examination 2013 specified in Appendix-V of the Notice.  Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificates : Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be a desirable qualification. These qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/ Personality Test
only.

Selection Procedure/Scheme : The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Exam. will be as follows: (i) Written Examination: The written examination to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission will be held on 20th October, 2013 and will comprise two papers. Paper I will be held from 10 a.m. to 12.00 Noon and Paper II will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800/- , Rs. 37,400-67,000/-

Application Fee : (a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. (c) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained. (d) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION (IFS) , 2011

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2012 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers commencing from 14th July 2012.

Eligibility:

• Age : Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August 2012. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
• Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as (i) General Category - 4 attempts, (ii) OBC - 7 attempts (iii) SC/ST - No limit

Application Form: The candidates must apply Online at http://www.upsconline.nic.in/ , but candidates from certain area country can apply through prescribed format i.e. New Common Application Form offline also, which can be purchased from desgnated Head Post Offices/ Post Office by cash payment of Rs. 30/- .

Fee: Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/-  either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit card.
