Applications are invited from the male citizens for the post of Inspector/ SI/JE in BSF

Physical Standards : For Inspr (Architect) : Height : 167.5 Cms, Chest : 81 Cms (86 Cms after expansion), Weight : Corresponding to Height. For SI/JE (C&E) : Height : 165 Cms. Relaxable by 05 Cms for hill tribes and Advivasis. . Chest : 76-81 Cms. Relaxable by 02 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age, Weight : Corresponding to Height, Must qualify the physical efficiency test and written test.
Medical Standards : Eye Sight : Minimum vision should be 6/6 & 6/9 of both eyes without corrections b) The candidates must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect/ deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Applications duly filled up in the prescribed format may be sent to The Commandant (Rectt), HQ DG BSF, Block-10, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before 4th May, 2012. The application should be accompanied with attested copies of certificates for proof of age, education qualification, SC/ST/OBC and other tribe/ hill areas (domicile), Technical Qualification/ Diploma wherever applicable, as well as a DD for Rs. 50/- as examination fee to be drawn in favour of DDO HQ DG BSF, payable at SBI Service Branch New Delhi, code No. 7687. The envelop containing application mst be super scribed in bold letters as " Application for the Post of Inspector (Architect)/ SI /JE (civil) & (Electrical) in BSF Engg SET UP.
