Eligibility : Students
completing 2nd year Under graduation programme or 3rd year (6th
semester) B. Tech programme with consistently good academic records and a
strong desire to take up research career
Accommodation : The
interns will be provided accommodation (double/multi bedded rooms) in
the university hostels. However, they will be required to bring their
bedrolls and arrange for their food.
Objectives : Some
of the main objectives for implementing this Programme is to introduce
the young talents into research at an early stage, open up the
university facilities to students of other institutions and give them
opportunities to interact with the experienced faculty members of the
university.
Stipend : The selected students will be provided incidental expenses amounting to Rs.2000/- for the entire period.
