Indian Air Force, invites applications for unmarried male candidates for the selection as an Airman in the Group 'X' (Technical) Trades
Qualification : Pass
in Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate with Physics, Mathematics OR Three year Diploma course in
Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or
Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology) with at least 50% marks
in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 July 1991 to 30 September 1995 (both days inclusive).
Domicile Requirement : To
be eligible to appear in the rally at Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex,
Balewadi, Pune (Maharashtra) the candidates must have passed the
qualifying examination from the recognized Board of the State of
Maharashtra OR should fulfill the domicile requirements (Domicile
Certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM or any official authorized by the
State Government of Maharashtra only will be accepted). If in
Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination passing certificate, name
of the district is not mentioned, candidate has to bring the original
Domicile Certificate in which the District name is mentioned.
Medical Standards: (i) Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear
forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical
deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear

How to apply
The
Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Shiv
Chatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune (Maharashtra) from 22 July 2012 to 25 July 2012 as
per the Selection Programme given below. The Recruitment Test will be
conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates
reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to
