Qualification :“Good
academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to
SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 10.09.1991 and
hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale
with letter grade O, A, B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level in
the subject namely Hindi, English, Economics, Sanskrit,
Mathematics, Education, Punjabi, Urdu, Political Science, History,
Tamil, Home Science and Commerce from an Indian University or
an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Candidates should have
qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers / Assistant
Professors conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by
the UGC.”
Note : “NET/SLET
shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and
appointment of Lecturer / Asstt.Professor provided however that
candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the UGC
(Minimum Standards and procedure for Awards of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree)
Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum
eligibility condition of NET/SLET”.
How to apply
Ad-hoc
Teachers/Research Scholars (who fulfils the above prescribed
qualifications), and Retired Teachers/ permanent teachers of Colleges
may submit their applications in the prescribed format duly filled in
all respects along with requisite documents. However, online
Registration of the Resource Persons will be preferred. The print out with requisite documents and photograph may be submitted upto 2nd July, 2012 to the Assistant Registrar (Establishment), School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The
resource persons who have already empanelled in the year 2011-12
whether online, offline or by taking classes in different PCP centres
are not required to apply afresh for the session 2012-13. However, if
they wish to update their qualifications, may submit the details.
