Qualification : (a) For Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades. Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute. (b) For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities. OR Three year Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.
Note: - Exact aggregate percentage of marks up to first place of decimal for all subjects as mentioned in the Marks Sheet of Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent will only be considered (For example, 49.9% should NOT be rounded off to 50%).
Domicile Requirement : (a) To be eligible to appear in the rally at Tripura Sports School Badharghat, Agartala (Tripura) the candidates must have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized Board of the State of Tripura or Nagaland or Arunachal Pradesh or Assam or Meghalaya or Mizoram OR should fulfill the domicile requirements (Domicile Certificate issued by SDM/DM/Executive Magistrate or any other official authorised by the State Government of Northern Eastern region only will be accepted). If in Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination passing certificate, name of the district is not mentioned, candidate has to bring the original Domicile Certificate in which the District name is mentioned.
Medical Standards : (a) General Medical Standards for both Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades and Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades are as follows: - (i) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms. (ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm (iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age. (iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable. (v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. (vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain
