Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. inviting application for the post of “Telecom Technical Assistants”
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must possess, as on the last date of receiving applications the following educational qualifications from a recognized institute/ University:(a) Three years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Radio Engineering/ Computer Engineering/Instrument Technology/Information technology OR(b) M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized Institution/University. Note :i. Candidates having only such qualifications and streams as mentioned above are eligible for appearing in the examination. There is no equivalence provided.ii. Candidates possessing higher qualification in the eligible stream are allowed to appear in the examination. iii. Candidates possessing three year diploma certificates are eligible to appear in the examination irrespective of percentage of marks obtained by them. iv. In case a candidate is possessing requisite educational qualification, irrespective of having entered the course in the second year through lateral entry level after 10+2, he/she will be eligible to appear in the examination.
Pay Scale : Rs 13600-25420
Age : 18 - 27 years as on 13.05.2013
Mode of selection: The Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) is a SSA cadre. Selection will be through a competitive Examination followed by a medical test. Appointment will be subject to police verification, successful completion of training and other usual formalities. Candidates are required to submit application for one SSA only.Examination Date : 30.06.2013
Bond and Trainings: a) All the candidates recruited against the vacancies for direct recruitment shall execute a BOND in the format as specified by the company to serve in BSNL for a period of TWO YEARS from the date of their appointment as Telecom Technical Assistants.
Probation Period: The candidates appointed shall remain on probation for a period of two years (liable to be extended by appointing authority).
Examination Fee: (a) Rs.500/- only is chargeable from the applicants through Demand Draft payable to Accounts Officer, BSNL, ……………… SSA.

How to apply
The
completed application form should be sent by Registered post/ Speed
post or in person so as to reach concerned BSNL office (SSA), where the
applicant wishes to take up the exam as against the vacancies of that
SSA, on or before the closing date i.e 13th May 2013.
The envelope containing application form should be marked “Application
for the post for in BSNL, ………… SSA”, in bold letters on the top of the
